Project Management in CT and NY- for Residential and Commercial

As a project manager, The Beacon Projects Group works for an owner/developer and will:

  • Assist in selection of design professionals and fee negotiation
  • Interface with the architect during the planning phase and subcontractors while construction is underway
  • Plan and prepare the building site
  • Estimate construction costs and set up budgeting process
  • Select trades and services
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Secure necessary permits and licenses
  • Monitor site continually
  • Provide quality control, cost reduction, value engineering
  • Deal knowledgeably with local, state and federal regulatory agencies
  • Help focus on priorities and goals for successful completion of a project
  • Contribute to streamlining of planning, construction and move-in processes to meet targeted completion dates
  • Make recommendations in regard to specific issues and/or problems such as field conditions, site logistics and phasing of the work
  • Ensure smooth collaboration and communication/reporting among involved parties
