Project
Management
As a project manager, The Beacon Projects Group works for an owner/developer
and will:
- Assist in selection of design professionals and fee negotiation
- Interface with the architect during the planning phase and subcontractors
while construction is underway
- Plan and prepare the building site
- Estimate construction costs and set up budgeting process
- Select trades and services
- Negotiate contracts
- Secure necessary permits and licenses
- Monitor site continually
- Provide quality control, cost reduction, value engineering
- Deal knowledgeably with local, state and federal regulatory
agencies
- Help focus on priorities and goals for successful completion
of a project
- Contribute to streamlining of planning, construction and move-in
processes to meet targeted completion dates
- Make recommendations in regard to specific issues and/or problems
such as field conditions, site logistics and phasing of the work
- Ensure smooth collaboration and communication/reporting among
involved parties
