New York City Tenant Association Engages Beacon Projects

The Tenant Association at 345 East 86th Street in New York City has engaged The Beacon Projects Group to be its owner’s representative to oversee renovation on the first floor of their building. Formerly a savings bank, the space has been leased to I.P.S. International Preschool, which plans to open by September 2013. In addition to classrooms and a library, the school will feature an indoor playground, as well as an outdoor one, gymnasium and multi-purpose room. Beacon’s scope of services, provided through weekly meetings, includes the expediting of permits, approvals of shop drawings, overseeing the coordination of safety factors for the building’s residents during construction and verifying that all finished details are in compliance with the Tenant Association’s standards.
