Beacon Projects Goes Back to Its Roots

Frank J. Mullaney, LEED AP, founder and president of The Beacon Projects Group, Inc., has announced the opening of an office in downtown Boston, Massachusetts.  Located at One International Place, 100 Oliver Street in Suite 1400, Boston 02110, Beacon Projects is a full service construction owner’s representative service and an outsource for green construction.

Having been born in Quincy, growing up in Cohasset and once living on Beacon Hill, Mullaney is literally going back to his roots. His father, Paul C. Mullaney, was a construction project superintendent for James Construction Company whose offices were located at Kevin’s Wharf on Summer Street for many years and his brother, Brian, fills the same role today for Turner Construction Company in Boston.  What’s more, many of Mullaney’s uncles and cousins are involved with construction industry in Massachusetts.  And to add icing to the cake, his two sons now work and live in the area – one in South Boston, the other in Newton!

Because Beacon was involved as owner’s representative for The Barteca Restaurant Group in their recent opening of a Barcelona Wine Bar in Brookline, Mullaney said, ”With that and our experience and success in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C., we’ve  demonstrated that we can also provide construction expertise to businesses in Massachusetts and hope to expand  there.”

The Beacon Projects Group, founded in 1994 and headquartered in Rowayton, Connecticut, is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Construction Management Association of America and an outsource providing owner’s representation, project and construction   management,   expert  witness services,  value   engineering,  scheduling, construct ability reviews and energy audits.
