Beacon Projects Finishes Showrooms and office for Major Shoe Company
The Beacon Projects Group recently finished a series of building projects for the Marc Fisher Shoe Company which included two showrooms in New York City and an office headquarters in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Renovations at the Trump Tower showroom, located at 725 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, involved alterations to an existing showroom floor that included new energy-efficient lighting, product display areas and furnishings. In addition to being the owner’s representative Beacon was project manager for an energy audit, providing a due diligence building inspection covering a building structure survey of mechanical and electrical systems to determine how to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Also in Manhattan at 595 Madison Avenue in the Fuller Building, Beacon oversaw alteration of existing showrooms on three floors with new energy-efficient lighting, product displays for several shoe lines and furnishings under an open ceiling plan.
The third aspect of Beacon’s work for Marc Fisher had to do with supervising, as owner’s representative, fitting out the 44,000 square foot office headquarters at the River Park Building, 777 West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich. This new open-ceiling facility is comprised of a data center, conference rooms, cafeteria, shoe design area, shoe storage system and to top it off, polished concrete floors.
Architect for all three projects was Robert Parisot L.L.C. General contractor for the Greenwich headquarters was A.Pappajohn Company while the Oestreicher Construction Company handled work at the Fuller Building and the Trump Tower.
