Taylor E. Strubinger of Norwalk, Connecticut achieved two milestones in 2015, the greatest being his 90th birthday on October 15th, the other completing his 20th year of invaluable assistance in regard to the many services The Beacon Projects Group offers.TS Beacon 10-27-15

A professional engineer, Mr. Strubinger’s broad experience during more than 65 years has involved all facets of design and construction projects in many parts of the world, including Russia, the Far East and the Middle East.

After becoming a senior associate for Beacon Mr. Strubinger was instrumental in project supervision and management for many construction assignments such as churches, a private yacht club, schools, luxury homes and apartment complexes, multiplex theaters, retail establishments and a high-security jewelry distribution center.   His varied assignments over the years have also aided Beacon Projects by acting as an expert witness in the adjudication of property disputes and performing value engineering for clients.

In addition to his work with Beacon, Mr. Strubinger served as a panel member of the American Arbitration Association both as a mediator and arbitrator for 30 years.  He devotes time to Norwalk’s Zoning Board of Appeals and has directed fund-raising for the city’s Brien McMahon High School Band.  A long-time resident of Norwalk, he and his wife June are active members of The United Church of Rowayton where they have served in various capacities over the years.
