The Beacon Projects Group can perform cost-consulting services for owners and architects to determine feasibility of a particular building project. In doing this we:

• Eliminate any perceived conflicts of interest between the project team and future bidders
• Provide accurate construction cost estimates
• Ensure each element is well defined and accounted for
• Make sure design components align with available funds
• Study competitive bids vs. the final estimate
• Engage in a continuous estimating process to avoid bid day disappointment of high prices, thus keeping a project within budget
• Act as a third-party expert
• Consult with those responsible for the various elements of a construction project, including
  - site development
  - utilities
  - structural systems
  - exterior envelope systems
  - finish components
  - special equipment
• Evaluate site selection, whether new construction or an addition
• Review whether prices are too high - or low - even after the fact
